Day 61 – Breakfast

P8010028I’m still not sure if I’m going to be going to New Orleans or not.  Last night, I checked the maps before going to bed, and it had the projection pretty much going straight for Lake Charles, LA.  Now, it looks like it’s going towards Morgan City, and then riding the coast until it lands the Lake Charles area.  Nonetheless, I packed just in case I decided to leave immediately after work.  This took me right up until it was time for me to leave this morning, so I grabbed a bowl of oatmeal on the way out.  I meant to grab a diet tea as well, but it slipping my mind.   Instead, I went with a Diet Dr. Pepper.  The oatmeal is awesome!  It makes a really good breakfast when I’m on the run.   It’ll be much better once it starts getting colder outside.

    I read you comment on Bob Breck’s blog. If I were you, I would hold off on coming here this weekend. The local authorities are planning evacuations and given the current track, they are likely to implement them. Contraflow is set to begin on Sunday morning and you do not want to be caught up in that. If you can delay your trip I think you should.

    BTW, I think what you are doing in regards to your diet is great. It looks like it is working for you. It takes a real set of stones to post pics of your diet progress on the web. Good luck to you.
