Day 28 – Dinner

By the time 7PM rolled around, my headache was still going pretty badly.  I knew I needed to have some dinner and decided to go with something quick and simple.  I threw on two chicken breasts onto the George Forman Grill.   I then took a bag of “Steamfresh Brocolli” and dropped it into the microwave for a little over 5 minutes.  When the brocolli was ready, I poured the contents of the bag onto my plate.  I then sprinked on some Tony Chachere’s seasoning and black pepper.  I then gave it a few squirts of spray butter for just a little extra kick.   The chicken was pre-marinated, so I left it as is.   For desert, I decided on one of the puddings.  Dinner was pretty good, though I think I’ll be hesitant to buy the premarinated chicken again.  I haven’t been all that impressed with the flavor overall.  I’ve still got to try the same brand’s non-marinated variety though.

After an hour or two, I started getting a little hungry.  I decided to pop some popcorn for an evening snack.  It was pretty good overall and still pretty healthy for me.

Dinner:

  • 2 – Grill Chicken Breast – 220 calories
  • 1 bag – Steam Fresh Brocolli – 120 calories
  • 1 – Jello Sugar Free Pudding – 60 calories
  • 1 bag – Pop Secret Reduced Fat Popcorn – 130 calories
  • Iced Tea – 0 calories
  • GRAND TOTAL: 530 calories

That brings the total for today up to 1280 calories. Quite a bit below where I need to be, though I was extremely sendentary today….
