Day 11 – Lunch and Dinner

7/10 - LunchToday was a crazy day altogether.  Its one reason I’m not updating until so late.  Not only was work keeping me busy, I was checking out some of the updates that were coming up for the iPhone.  Unfortunately, I didn’t find a calorie counter, or at least a good one.  I ended up wiping my iPhone clear so I decided to go home for lunch in order to get me some music to listen to.  The one downside of this is that I live about 25 minutes from the office.  That leaves me about 10 minutes to get home, fix something to eat, then head back to the office.  I decided to go for the old PB&J.  Here’s the breakdown for lunch….

Lunch:

  • 4 slices of Low Calorie whole grain bread – 140 calories
  • 2 tbsp – Peanut Butter – 190 calories
  • 1 tbsp – Sugar Free Strawberry preserves – 10 calories
  • 8oz – Skim Milk – 80 calories
  • Grand Total: 260 calories

7/10 - DinnerFor dinner, I went back to the usual…. chicken and spinach.  Instead of the pudding, I decided on a fruit cup.  This turned bad, however, as I misread the label, and didn’t realize it contained 2 servings.  So, my 70 calorie treat turned into 140.   Still, not too bad overall.

Dinner:

  • Chicken – 150 calories
  • Canned Spinach – 100 calories
  • Fruit Cup – 140 calories
  • Minute Maid Light Lemonade – 5 calories
  • GRAND TOTAL: 395 calories

That brings the total for the day up to: 895 calories. I’m wondering if being so low is such a good idea.  I’m not hungry, persay, but I don’t want my body turning against itself and storing everything.  I’ll have to see how it plays out.
